1 cup coconut oil

½ cup sugar

1/3 cup fresh coffee grounds

2-3 tablespoon olive oil


  1. Combine coconut oil, sugar, coffee grounds, olive oil in a medium size bowl.
  2. Mix well and store in an air-tight jar.

Lemon Body Scrub

If you love the refreshing scent of lemons, you’d love this. Lemon is a natural source of Vitamin C. By adding lemon into your DIY body scrubs, you are minutes away from brighter and smoother skin!


3 cups sugar

¾ cup olive oil

Juice from 1 lemon

Zest from 2 lemons

2 tablespoon vanilla extract


  1. Combine sugar in large mixing bowl. Then, mix in oil and vanilla extract.
  2. Zest 2 lemons and juice 1 lemon, and add into the mixture.
  3. Mix well and store in an air-tight jar.

Salt Body Scrub

Salt is good in relaxing the muscles. So a simple salt body scrub might be just want you need after a long day.


1 cup finely ground salt

1/3 cup almond oil (or other oil of your choice)

8 drops grapefruit essential oil

8 drops bergamot essential oil

4 drops peppermint essential oil


  1. Add essential oils to salt in a bowl, and stir thoroughly.
  2. Add almond oil gradually. Stir continuously.
  3. Once the mixture is of moist sand consistency, you may stop stirring.
  4. Store the scrubs in an air-tight jar.

Banana Sugar Body Scrub

If you have dry skin and worry that using a body scrub might be too harsh for you skin, this banana sugar body scrub is perfect for you. Bananas contain Vitamin C and anti-oxidant, while sugar helps remove oil skin cells.


¼ cup shea butter

¼ cup coconut butter

¼ cup coconut oil

¼ cup apricot kernel oil

1 ripe banana

1 cup sugar


  1. Combine shea butter, apricot kernel oil, coconut butter, and banana in a blender.
  2. Blend till smooth before stirring in the sugar.
  3. Mix well and store in an air-tight jar.

Oatmeal Body Scrub
