The idea of using oil as a cleanser might sound quite bizarre to some people, especially those with oily skin. However, did you know that when the cleansing oil is combined with the natural oils on our face, it somehow helps to balance out the skin’s natural oil naturally. The oil also helps to remove your makeup and all sorts of dirt from your face.

I’ve been using this method for four years now. What I would do is cleanse my face with a cleansing oil and follow by any other type of gentle cleanser afterwards. This method is called double cleansing where you cleanse your face twice to really get all the dirt out. I used to use makeup remover wipes to remove my makeup but then it started to make my skin extra dry since it stripped away the natural oils on my face. Thus, by using cleansing oil as a mean to remove my makeup, my face has gotten so much better.

So, here are some suggestions of cleansing oils for you to try out!

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil

This is the first cleansing oil that I use and I really love it. It cleanses my makeup including my waterproof mascara perfectly. The cleanser is gentle to the face and lasts such a long time. The only downside to it is the smell of fragrance and some people might not like it. I personally don’t mind. You can get this cleansing oil at any local The Body Shop stores or online for RM75.

Biore Cleansing Oil

This is my current oil cleanser and I love it to bit! So I just had to include it on my list of Top 5 Best Cleansing Oils! It feels so much softer on the skin compared to the The Body Shop’s. Don’t get me wrong, the camomile oil cleanser is gentle to my skin but this one is gentler and thus, I’m loving it. I totally recommend it to those with sensitive skin, this one won’t irritate your skin or your eyes! You can get it at any Watsons store for only RM24.70 and the best part is that it’s 150ml! You can definitely use it for months. Such a bargain!

Origins Clean Energy Gentle Cleansing Oil

I love everything about Origins products to be honest although they can be a little bit pricey sometimes. Origins Clean Energy Gentle Cleansing Oil helps to remove makeup on your face effortlessly and at the same time, treating your skin making it look so much healthier. However, it’s quite a bum that the bottle doesn’t have a pump and thus, making it less hygienic and can be a little bit messy. Despite its downside, that doesn’t mean that we can’t include it on our list of the best cleansing oils, right?

Simple Hydrating Cleansing Oil

The best cleansing oils don’t always have to cost you a lot of money. Simple’s Cleansing Oil is one of the best for beginners because the price is affordable whilst removing your makeup completely. Furthermore, this cleansing oil is fragrance free and thus, very suitable for those with sensitive and dry skin. The ingredients also help to keep the skin hydrated (like the name suggested!) and fresh all day long which is a big plus!

Innisfree Olive Real Cleansing Oil

Innisfree is one of my favorite skincare brand from Korea and you can get most of their products at the stores locally. It is affordable and most importantly, the ingredients used are mostly natural and thus, completely safe for your skin. In addition, it works effectively in removing any dirt from your skin. So, what else can you ask right? Thus, this one is definitely on top of our list for the best cleansing oils alongside others!
