Face oils can be a little bit intimidating to some people, especially if they have an oily skin. Like seriously, the questions that they usually have in mind is that why would they put oils to their face? Wouldn’t it caused the skin to be more oily and more acne will pop here and there?
Well nope, it won’t.
Yes you read that right. Face oils will never make your skin more oily. In fact, you skin will reap so much benefits from the oils. Your skin will become more healthy, glowing and beautiful. To some people, applying face oils to their skin can be quite a ‘risky’ thing to do, but I promise you it won’t get worse. You just have to find the perfect one for your skin.
So here the top 5 face oils that you should try!
I’ve mentioned about this personal favorite in my other post on How to Get Rid of Acne Scars. Rosehip oil has become my ultimate beauty secret since a few years ago where I used to have a terrible acne breakouts. I always use this oil to even out my skin and fade the scars away. It takes a little bit of time (and patience!) for it to show the results but I promise you, it’ll work. Rosehip oil has a lot of benefits such as antioxidants properties and loads of other vitamins such as Vitamin C! It’s such a miracle oil for your face, right?
My suggestion is the Trilogy’s Certified Organic Rosehip Oil and you can get this oil from your nearest Vitacare Pharmacy for RM81+. For a 20ml bottle, the price is a bargain since it can lasts for at least 3 months. So you should give it a try!
Olive oil has been around for decades and people use it for various reasons including for beauty purposes. The oil is known to be rich with anti-aging antioxidants and hydrating properties. I have at least two bottles of olive oil on my makeup vanity right now because of the benefit it gives. I suffer from dry skin from time to time and olive oil is my savior. I don’t just apply the oil on my face, I also slather it all over my feet and legs where my skin tends to get so so dry. Within a day or two, the skin in that area become so much softer and hydrated. Ah, so much love for this one!
p/s: I also use the oil as my makeup remover!
Originated from Morocco, the oil has been a popular choice among beauty enthusiasts due to its benefits. My sister used argan oil on her acne prone face and her skin has never been better. Its healing properties helps to soothe the skin and clears the skin. It is also used as a moisturizer since the oil is high with vitamin E and fatty acid and thus, helps to give your skin a natural boost.
If you feel like trying argan oil, then I suggest you to try the one from our local brand Mora Essential for RM60.
Tea Tree Oil
This one is a savior too for acne prone skin. Studies shown that a constant use of tea tree can help to combat acne. Just use a few drops of it and dab it on your face and your skin will improve overtime. However, you have to be careful not to overuse the oil as it can trigger your face to produce more oil. So, a little goes a long way with this one. I would suggest you to check out The Body Shop tea tree skincare range as it offers a variety of products from face scrub to essential oils. You will definitely find something for your skin!
