Fruits are packed with vitamins and nutrients. Since young, we were told to consume lots of fruits to have a healthy body and skin. Instead of just consuming them, we came up with five simple “recipes” to create your own fruit masks. Not only it’s totally natural ingredients, it smells good too!


Mask #1 – Papaya Brightening Face Fruit Masks

Living in a tropical country, papaya is readily available all year long. You might heard of the special enzyme “papain” in papaya that’s rich in anti-oxidants, but do you know that it helps to remove tan and providing the skin with a natural glow?

What You Need

2 pieces of papaya

1 tsp of honey (optional)

Directions

Blend the papaya till it becomes nice and smooth.

Apply onto cleansed skin. Let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes.

Rinse your face thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.


Mask #2 – Kiwi and Avocado Anti-tan Face Fruit Masks

Need to remove that ugly tan and restore the glow to your skin? Try this!

What You Need

1 avocado

1 kiwi

1 tsp of plain yogurt

1 tsp of sugar (optional)

1 tsp of olive oil (optional)

Directions

Remove the skin of both avocado and kiwi.

Mash /puree them to form a smooth, creamy paste.

Add the yogurt (or the sugar/oil) and mix well.

Apply the mask evenly on your face. Let it rest for

Strawberries are well-known as a nutrition powerhouse. With this nutrient-packed fruit, you can expect nothing less but leaving your skin feeling healthy. The oats acts a scrubbing agent for when you’re about to rinse off. This mask will leave you a squeaky, clean face.

What You Need

4 strawberries

1 tsp of oat

1 tsp of plain yogurt

Directions

Blend the strawberries till smooth.

Add yogurt and mix well.

Apply evenly onto face. Let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes.

Rinse your face thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.


Mask #4 – Banana Cleansing Fruit Masks

The first step to have healthy glowing skin is to have a thoroughly cleansed face. This is where the banana cleansing mask comes to play. Banana is another tropical fruit that contains abundant amounts of vitamins and minerals that are crucial in getting healthy glowing skin.

What You Need

½ banana

½ tsp of honey

Directions

Mash the bananas into paste.

Add in the honey and mix well.

Apply evenly only face. Let it rest for 20 minutes.

Rinse your face thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.


 Mask #5 – Tomato Face Fruit Masks

Tomatoes not only help in anti-aging and protecting your skin against the harmful UV rays, it helps to reduce tan and brightening your skin as well.

What You Need

1 tomato

1 tbsp of oatmeal

1 tsp of plain yogurt

Directions

Blend the tomato till it became smooth.

Add in the oatmeal and plain yogurt and mix well.

Apply evenly onto face. Let it rest for 10 minutes.

Rinse your face thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.
