Skinfood is a skincare and cosmetic brand originated form South Korea and it was founded in 1957. The company creates beauty products based on foods with a slogan ‘beauty food for the urban sweety’. The ingredients used are all natural-based such as fruits and vegetables.
One of the best selling products from the company is the Rice Mask Wash-Off which is made from rice! So as you have guessed it, today’s article will be regarding this product. Of course, we will try to be as neutral as possible when doing our Skinfood Rice Mask review, so don’t you worry!
Texture – The texture is a bit milky in my opinion instead of creamy. It has soft grains that feels gentle on the skin.
Smell – I love the smell of this face mask! The combination of the smell of rice and fragrance is not overpowering at all.
Does it work? – Since this mask works as an exfoliator too, I do have to say that the grains is too soft to my liking but it doesn’t mean that this mask doesn’t work at all. I do see brightening effect on my face after using it! It also seems to reduce my oil sebum access a bit.
Skinfood’s Rice Mask Wash-Off is one of the best one I have used so far. I love how it makes my skin feels soft while at the same time, helps to brighten it. You skin will also feel so moisturized afterwards, perfect for people with dry skin! It doesn’t irritate my skin since the product is made from natural ingredients which in this case, rice (obviously). The smell is so nice that it won’t bother you the whole 10 minutes the mask is on. But if you’re someone who hates fragrance in your mask, then this would probably a con instead.
One of the cons would definitely be how the exfoliator is too soft but that’s just my preference. So, if you have a super sensitive skin, then you might like this face mask very much. The exfoliator I supposed is the rice grains that are crushed but it still works, don’t worry. As for hygiene issue, some people may dislike this mask as it comes in a jar. I personally don’t have a problem with it but if you’re very particular about dipping your finger into the jar, then you might want to buy a spatula in order to pick up the product.
So basically, this mask is recommended for every skin type especially to those with dry skin. The 100ml jar is also more than enough to last you a few months, which is worth your every penny! Most importantly, you will see the brightening effect it gives, making your skin appears more healthy and dewy!
So, that is all for now! What do you think of our Skinfood Rice Mask review? Do you think it’s worth a try? If you’re still unsure, there are samples that you can get in their local stores instead of buying a full jar! You can get several samples to make sure it suits your skin. So go and check them out soon!
