We have rounded 8 Award Winning Perfumes for this year! We are also so excited for 2017!
Hardly anyone in this world doesn’t want perfume and how the fragrance defines their personality. Out of curiosity, I went and did some research on what are the best/top perfumes throughout 2016. And before we bid goodbye 2016, let’s take a look on which few perfumes won The Fragrance Foundation Awards 2016.
8 Award Winning Perfumes for 2016
Tom Ford Noir Pour Femme
If “over-the-top” perfume is your thing, Tom Ford Noir Pour Femme certainly is what you are looking for. With notes of mandarin oil, bitter orange oil, ginger extract, rose absolute, jasmine accord, orange flower, Indian kulfi accord, vanilla Madagascar, amber, Australian sandal wood, and lentisque resinoid; the floral and oriental scent of Noir Pour Femme would definitely turns a few heads.
Marc Jacobs Decadence
With a name such as “Decadence”, you can expect the perfume to scream glamour and luxury, and this is exactly what Marc Jacobs Decadence delivers. With a bottle shaped of a handbag with faux python flat, gold chain and black tassel; Decadence is sensual, luxurious and woody.
Tom Ford Venetian Bergamot
Tom Ford Venetian Bergamot has won the Men’s Luxury Fragrance of the Year. The scent is elegant yet sparkling and sensual with notes such as Bergamot Essence Italy Orpur, Ylang Madagascar Organic Essence, Cedarwood Virginea Essence Opour.
Victoria’s Secret Forever Sexy
Victoria’s Secret is famous for its lingerie, and they have designed the Forever Sexy bottle looking like a corset (very sexy, I would say…). Despite the sexy corset-looking bottle, Forever Sexy has warm fragrance that includes Belladonna orange, Solar gardenia, and Golden amber.
Dior Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet
I LOVE Dior’s perfume! From their elegant and pretty looking bottle to their fragrances, Dior has never let me down – so far. As the name suggested, you can expect floral yet fruity notes from Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet with Sicilian orange essence as top note, Peony and Damask Rose as the heart and dries down to a base of white musk. Though there aren’t any surprising elements in the fragrance, Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet is chic and romantic and is easily acceptably by majority.
Next on the list is Dior Sauvage. If you are not too sure which perfume we are talking about, it’s the one with Johnny Depp in it with blue skies and rocky landscapes. Dior Sauvage is raw and masculine with notes of Reggio bergamot, Sichuan pepper, and Ambroxian.
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue
Do you know that there’s such thing as “Fragrance Hall of Fame” in the world of fragrances? Yes, and Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue made its way into the list and won this award. Light Blue is light and refreshing with notes of Granny Smith apple, bamboo, jasmine, rose, citron, amber and musk.
Fragrances that Chanel produces has always been somewhat luxurious, glamour and elegant. Inspired by Misia Sert, Chanel Misia is feminine with blends of Rose of May and Violet and a suggestive hint of leather. For an elegant touch to your night out, Chanel Misia would be a nice choice.
