Sheryl Ng’s Personal Style

I don’t really have a distinct style – I wear what I feel is most suitable for where I’m going and what I’m doing though I really loove bohemian clothing! So cute and comfortable at the same time. 🙂

What Mantra That You Believe in?

“Ungratefulness closes doors of opportunities”. It’s something I thought of not long ago that reminds me to always appreciate what I have and life will always reward you with more.

Career Story

Photography has been my passion since I was 14 years old, it has helped me through many tough times by allowing me to express my feelings in a more creative way. Ever since then, many opportunities have been given to me which allowed me to make money through it.

As for our online business, I came up with the idea before Valentine’s Day of 2014 to make a bracelet for my boyfriend. Then, instead of buying supplies for 1 bracelet, I bought a TON of materials and told my boyfriend, “we’re starting a business”. We worked on it together and now get fair share of what we make! 😀

Current occupation

I’m a portrait photographer and I also co-founded an online jewellery business, Cadeaur together with my boyfriend.

What makes you smile the most?

Baby animals make me very happy.

Current update

I just graduated from Foundation in Arts at Sunway College and will be interning for a creative agency. I am hoping to pursue my studies overseas in the near future after I settle some amazing opportunities here in Malaysia which I have yet to reveal 😉

Her Mom’s beauty advice

Always wear sunscreen, don’t wear so much makeup, drink lots of water and get enough beauty sleep 😉

How she got started in make-up

When I started college last year was when I started wearing light makeup daily.

ULTIMATE Beauty Icon

I have a huge long-time crush on Alexis Ren.

Favorite new beauty product

The cleansing sponge from MUJI! My mom bought it for me and I use it together with my cleanser to wash my face – it gets all the dirt and grime off, leaving my face SO soft!

Must Have Items on Make-up Pouch!

Technically, I keep my makeup in a shoebox HAHAHA but here’s what I currently use whenever I go out: Maybelline’s Baby Skin Pore Eraser, CLIO’s Kill Cover Cushion Foundation, TheBalm’s The Manizer Sisters for contour, blush and highlight, Edute House’s Drawing Eyebrow Pencil, Canmake’s Lip Tint Syrup.

What is your lazy girl beauty staple?

Smile (and good moisturizer so my skin doesn’t crack when I’m smiling hehe)

Recommended place in Malaysia

Anywhere in Pulau Terrenganu is beautiful because of the crystal clear water. Please go snorkeling or diving if you can! They’re my favourite activities when I go on a holiday! 🙂
