Please introduce yourself
I’m Syahira Zakaria, daughter of 2 loving parents and wife to Raja Nadhil Aqran. I graduated from law school last year and took a year off doing what I love most: Travelling and Fashion.
What is your current occupation?
I am a housewife and blogger. But I do plan on starting work soon!

Describe your personal style in THREE words
However I feel
What do you wear on lazy days?
Anything that does not require ironing.
Who’s your style icon?
Wendy of Wendy’s Lookbook
How do you stay up to date with fashion?
I love watching fashion shows and dresses at red carpets!
What do you think about denim over denim?
You can do it. When I do denim over denim, I wear different colours.
Sneakers, flats or heels kinda girl?
Heels. Even my sneakers have a bit of heel!
What’s your style philosophy?
Be comfortable but always look good because you have to look good to feel good.
What’s a fashion trend that can never let you down?
Palazzo pants. You can wear them anytime (even to work and events) and they are super comfortable!
Do you see makeup as part of fashion?
Of course. The face makes the look. If you want to look gothic, for example, your face has to go with the look as well.
Which celebrities have the best style to you?
I absolutely love Lily Collins and Taylor Swift. They are very elegant.
Monochrome or colour blocking?
Colour blocking because I’ve had it with monochrome in the legal world. Haha.
What’s your favourite thing to wear?
Any white blouse. Because it’s so easy to pair.
Accessories you can’t live without?
My wedding and engagement rings.
Are you afraid of wearing an all-white outfit?
Yes because of my complexion. I would never choose to wear a white shawl.
What are the FIVE things that you must have in your bag?
My I.C., credit card, home access card, cash and phone.
What’s the priciest thing you ever splurge on?
My Bally handbag.
If you have to wear ONE thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A black dress.
Which fashion trend that will never be out of style?
The little black dress.
Polka dots or stripes?
What are you currently following in the fashion industry (brand, news, model career, etc)
What do you like besides fashion?
Food. Travelling. Novels. I am a fat nerd inside, I swear.
Your favourite apparel?
Sequins anything. I feel like when you need to look a bit glam, you just put a sequin jacket over your shoulders and you just fit in.
What kind of style that you’re least confident about?
The edgy look. I love to look edgy but I just get so scared that people are going to look at me weird.
What’s your favourite fashion brand?
I wear a lot of aere (because it’s my SIL’s brand and I used to work there) but my favourite brand is When Our Eyes Met by my cousin-in-law, Putri Yasmin Ramli. It’s edgy and comfortable and suitable for a lot of different occasions.
Who’s your biggest influence when it comes to fashion?
No one. Travelling is my biggest influence when it comes to fashion. When I came back from Europe, my looks were very European influenced and when I came back from Indonesia, my looks were very Indonesian inspired. I can’t help it. I fall in love with the places I go to.
Name THREE things you can’t live without?
Comfortable black heels, glamorous flip flops, black anak tudung.
When did you first involve in fashion?
My love for fashion started a long time ago but I started the blog a month after the wedding and that’s kind of when I started getting involved in the industry.
